Transcription : Its Patrick from just wines today I’m going to have a look at the Rare dirt Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 vintage from the premium region of Margaret River my opinion the most premium wines in Australia come from Margaret River and if you’re looking at one great that’s the flagship great for Margaret River its Cabernet Sauvignon so this is a wine right up there with some of the best that have been made in Margaret River over the past few vintages 2016 was a good vintage this wine is certainly going to age for the next 3-5 community more years but right at the moment the tenants have softened enough from the Cabernet for it to be quite an enjoyable experience to drink down so as far as the aromas go it’s a dark chocolate dark black fruits black currant dominant a little bit of mint which is typical of Margaret River pepper day as well on the palate yeah it’s quite its medium-bodied but yeah it’s it’s a bit of opera it’s um it’s a wine that as I said is really going to develop even more over the next few years I think it’s um I would be drinking some of it now but I’d be putting some other way and try some more in another six months another 12 months you’ll find that the subtle changes over the course of time at the moment I’d be serving it with some rare roast beef ribs anything sort of beef dominated it’s going to be great if you’re drinking in on the zone over the over these months because it is a even though it’s only medium bodied as I said it’s it packs a bit of a punch I’d be chilling it down a little bit so if you’re having it outside in the hot summers in Australia just pop it on the ice for 20 minutes just to take the edge of it and I think you’ll you know you’ll really enjoy the experience there but as I said Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon doesn’t get much better than that as far as australian wines go so get yourself a bottle get yourself a case enjoy that over the next few years. Cheers!
