Transcription : Hi it’s Patrick from just Williams today we’re going to have a look at the Rare Dirt Margaret river Shiraz 2016 Margaret River the premium region for wines in Australia most commonly associated with Cabernet when it comes to the Reds but the Shiraz the quality of the Shiraz being grown over there I think is really lifted over the past sort of five years or so so it seems some really quality assurance coming through from Margaret River now to back up the great reputation that Cabernet has built up over the past sort of twenty thirty years red dirt Shiraz 2016 its medium bodied wine it’s a wine that’s um really suited to food it’s still got three to five years aged if you did want to keep it for a little bit longer it’s on the nose still really vibrant you know lots of black fruits sort of jumping out blackberries black currant cherries plums the whole sort of given up the berries a little bit of a kick in there a little bit of complexity coming through smelling things like some dark chocolate maybe some liquor ice sort of smell in there as well on the palate definitely need medium body it’s not a big full-bodied style sure ask that you get from Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale it is more fruit food focused so enjoy it with your food if you did want to drink it on the side kill it down a little bit to just fish over the warmer months coming up it’s a great great wine great one for you to try as I said medium bodied easy drinking style but it’s got some good layers of complexity it’s from the premium region of Margaret river and I hope you enjoy it cheers
