A seafood connoisseur and entrepreneur, Stuart Simmons founder of Seafood Connection, has led the company for more than 30 years. Mr. Simmons, considered an expert in commercial lobster importing and export, was a featured speaker at the World Lobster Conference in Adelaide, Australia.
Stuart has enjoyed traveling the world looking for premium quality and unique seafood specialties. If you’ve enjoyed a seafood dinner at a fine dining restaurant in Hawaii, you’ve probably sampled it from Seafood Connection. A graduate of the University of Hawaii, Seafood Connection began as Simmons’ brainchild for an entrepreneur program at the University’s business school. It grew out of his college apartment to be one of Hawaii’s premier seafood suppliers and distributors for restaurant and resort hotels.
